The MEADA coalition has been shown unbelievable support to carry on the work we do and because of that it is our promise to you that we will continue fighting our hardest to reduce the burden substance abuse has on our communities.

We feel the work MEADA has done is making a great difference for many people. Locally we have seen children call in their parents due to their neglect as a result of substance abuse. We have participated on the state level for harsher penalties with the sale of pseudoephedrine and addressing a way to stop the sale of drug paraphernalia. Our educational materials have been given out to nearly a third of all counties in Minnesota, even to a handful of states across the country

As MEADA has evolved we have been truly affected by the work others are doing around the issue of substance abuse.
